To cap off another great year for Sequential, MusicTech has just named the Prophet-10 Best Hardware Synth of 2021, and declares the synth well-deserving of its status as a legendary synth over 50 years on from its introduction. They particularly applauded Sequential for “keeping things classic where it should and introducing new tricks that make sense in 2021.” Also singled out for praise were the Prophet-10’s Vintage Knob functionality and its inclusion of both revisions of its classic filters.
