Sequential has set final pricing for the Prophet-6 synthesizer, which is scheduled to begin shipping to dealers in June. US list price will be $2,999 with a US MAP of $2,799.
The Sequential team has spent the last several months fine-tuning the features and sound of the Prophet-6, creating its factory presets, and ramping up production to meet customer demand for the 6-voice, all-analog poly synth, which has been unprecedented.
“We take a lot of pleasure in developing all of our instruments,” said Dave Smith. “But bringing the Prophet-6 to life has been particularly satisfying. It’s a fantastic synth.”
